Running back Matt Jones had to head to the locker-room early Friday to get an X-Ray on his left shoulder.
The results revealed an AC sprain in Matt Jones' left shoulder. The severity of the injury was not immediately known, but Jones returned to the sidelines after the half with his left arm in a sling.
Jones carried the ball seven times for 31 yards in the first quarter before coming out of the game favoring his left shoulder. Durability has been a key issue for Jones who missed major time last year during his rookie season. The Redskins wanted to get him at least seven carries in the game.
The Redskins are still trying to access if Jones can be a full-time back in the NFL.
